HDMI Diode TEMPEST Level B & RÖS U2
The Fibersystem HDMI Diode protects sensitive systems by ensuring that video and audio can only travel in one direction, completely blocking any two-way communication between computers, displays, and shared peripherals. By isolating the source from the presentation surface, it eliminates the risk of data leakage and is ideal for high-security environments such as meeting rooms with shared AV equipment. The unit includes a dedicated HDMI input and output and supports secure EDID handling through capture and erase functions.
Certified to RÖS U2 and TEMPEST Level B (SDIP-27), the diode uses hardware-based isolation at multiple levels and is security-sealed upon delivery. Installation is simple: connect the HDMI cable, hold the EDID capture control for two seconds during initial setup, and the system guarantees complete isolation between the computer and the display.

The HDMI Diode has an HDMI input and output and separates the source’s DDC signals from those at the presentation surface while blocking ARC, HEC, and CEC in both directions. EDID information can easily be transferred to the diode or erased from the internal EEPROM when required, ensuring a secure and controlled operating environment.

Easy installation – how does it work?
- Connect the HDMI cable between the display and the diode.
- Hold down the EDID-capture control for 2 seconds (only during the initial installation).
- The user can now be 100% sure that the display and computer are completely isolated from each other.
