The Microtower V2 TEMPEST Level A and RÖS U1 is a secure and flexible expansion unit designed for environments with the highest information-security requirements. Certified to TEMPEST Level A and RÖS U1, it serves as a trusted expansion module for PC clients.
The unit can also be used for secure data transfer between different media types—for example, moving data from a USB stick to a CD/DVD/Blu-Ray disc—making it ideal for controlled, high-security workflows.

- Secure storage media connections: supports up to 2 USB flash drives or external USB hard drives.
- Optical drive: compatible with CD/DVD/Blu-Ray RW media.
- Internal storage: space for one SATA hard drive for secure data transfer or backup.
- Data migration: enables controlled, secure transfer between different media — for example USB to CD/DVD/Blu-Ray.
- Protected interfaces: all connections are located behind a lockable TEMPEST/RÖS hatch.
- Security alarm: visual and audible alarm activates when the TEMPEST/RÖS hatch is opened.
