Fiber Optical Switch 1×4 MPO
Fibersystem’s fiber optic 1×4 MPO switch is a fully optical, bidirectional, and data-rate transparent solution for switching between four different channels. It can be controlled via the front-panel buttons or externally through RS232/TTL, and it retains the selected channel even during a power outage.
Its design without any electrical conversion makes it ideal for environments with high demands on security, robustness, and signal integrity. It is used to switch between different sources, separate networks (red/black), or alternative destination devices such as additional displays or projectors.
The 1×4 MPO Fiber Optic Switch is future-proofed for advanced IP communication environments and provides high flexibility in both operation and network design. Typical application areas include optical protection, test systems, reconfigurable add-drop multiplexers, provisioning of FTTH and dark fiber, disaster recovery, rerouting, and communication restoration.
