Fiber Optical Conv G.703 Codir C37.94 MM

The 21-216 Fiber Optic G.703 Codirectional – IEEE C37.94 Converter is an electro-optical interface converter between G.703 Codir. 64 kbps (balanced) and IEEE C37.94 N×64 kbps optical interfaces. It extends the reach of balanced G.703 connections up to 2 km, ensuring interference-free, cost-effective transmission without signal degradation. The unit supports all IEEE C37.94 channel configurations and is easy to set up.

The 21-216 is designed to connect teleprotection equipment to telecom multiplexers in substations. It can also directly interconnect protection devices when one or both units lack optical interfaces. Overall, it enables equipment using the IEEE C37.94 standard to interoperate with devices that only support G.703 interfaces.
