Codec Switch (TEMPEST Level C & RÖS U3)
Codec Switch U3/LC is certified for both TEMPEST Level C and RÖS U3 for protection against intercepting signals and is designed to be part of Fibersystems’ TEMPEST Level A and RÖS U1 approved video conferencing systems.
Product Description
The purpose of Codec Switch TEMPEST Level C and RÖS U3 is to enable the connection of a common VTC peripheral, i.e. camera, monitor, audio device and control unit to up to 4 external codec devices.
It is also possible to connect additional devices, such as Document Camera TEMPEST Level B and RÖS U2 and 1st extra Monitor 55″ TEMPEST Level B and RÖS U2.
External control system e.g. Secure Key Switch connects via RS232 DB9 connector to Codec Switch TEMPEST Level C and RÖS U3 to switch between codec devices.
All interfaces are encapsulated in a cabinet classified TEMPEST Level C and RÖS Equipment Class 3.
