Fiber Optical Router 8-ports 100Mbit U1/LA is based on Cisco ISR4321-SEC/K9 with a TEMPEST Level A and RÖS U1 protected enclosure with 8 client ports that are accessible via fiber connections to maintain the functionality of Cisco’s hardware but at the same time be able to use it in a network environment that has requirements for TEMPEST Level A and RÖS U1 equipment.

Compromising Emanations protected Cisco 4321 Integrated Services Router.

Fibersystem router is built around a standard Cisco 4321 Integrated Services Router, with fiber optical converters added. Everything is enclosed in an EMC proof enclosure to eliminate compromising emanations. The router can be ordered configured with an optional number of 100BaseFX fiber optical interfaces, 8 or 16 ports.

Installation and configuration
The router enclosure connects to standardised fiber optical interfaces. Console port and USB stick are accessible behind a hatch. The Cisco normal configuration routines can be
